How to Connect a Web Service via SOAP in ONEWEB

If you need to connect to a web service using SOAP — for example, integrating with an SSO system — here’s what you’ll need to prepare.

Connection Types

There are two main methods to connect a SOAP web service in ONEWEB, depending on the Source Type you choose:

  1. Source Type: URL
  • Prepare: WSDL URL
  1. Source Type: File
  • Prepare: WSDL file for upload
  • Prepare: XSD file for upload

Configuration Steps

Once you have your WSDL URL or files ready:

  1. Add the WSDL
  • If using URL: paste the WSDL URL into the configuration field
  • If using File: upload both the WSDL and XSD files
  1. Retrieve Operations
  • Click Get Operation to load available operations from the WSDL
  1. Retrieve Endpoints
  • Click Get Endpoint to load the endpoint list

:light_bulb: Tip: Always ensure your WSDL and XSD files are up-to-date and accessible by the ONEWEB server to avoid connection errors.
